What a wonderful day Jenna and I have had so far here in Sonoma. We decided to postpone yoga until tomorrow, so after breakfast I went on a run and then we walked into town for some tea and window shopping.

We ended up at Murphy Goode Winery! (aren’t their corks pretty??)

Wine tasting at 10:30 a.m.? Sure, why not! ;)

Jenna’s friend Hardy who met us out last night works there, and was excited to give us a tasting :)

Obviously we had to try on their trademark Viking horn hats ;)

After our tasting, the three of us headed over to a wonderful vegetarian place in town called Cafe Gratitude for lunch.

I had the most delicious bowl of quinoa and veggies with coconut-curry sauce entitled “I am Graceful.” :)

After lunch, the three of us headed out to do some more tastings and enjoy the beautiful scenery :)

Now we’re back at Jenna’s place having a little siesta :) We’re heading over to the grocery store shortly to get provisions because a few of us are making dinner at Hardy’s place tonight! The menu we have going is sounding really delicious… stay tuned :)

What’s your favorite type of wine? I really love Pinot Noir, although my favorite wine of the day was a Chardonnay from Murphy Goode!

Look at you getting all fancy with the pictures! I love. Also love the HAT. Sort of goes with your devilish halloween costume. I hope you kept it for next halloween. You could do many things with that. Like be SUPER VIKING ANNE, or something.

  11. That’s a great shot with a point and shoot! I’m so jealous of you’re trip to Cafe Gratitude…what a great place to be able to go eat…love the names of the menu items too, very uplifting. Fitting for you two gals :)

  12. Jen says:

Totally jealous!! Yummy restaurant. I still like Shiraz (from Eastern Australia) the best but Pinot Noirs are also a more recent fave (esp. from the Oregon’s Willamette valley!)

  13. Stacey says:

Just what camera are you using these days???

I have a Fuji Film Z20 – just a little point and shoot, but I’ve been impressed with it! The only time it isn’t great is in dim lighting, which I why I hardly ever post when I go out to eat at restaurants! I’m saving up for a manual digital though because I LOVE taking photos :) -Anne
