Came, Saw, Was Conquered.

So.. it all started with a Mexican Meal of Death on Friday night.

Yep. You read that right. Totally think I got food poisoning from my fish taco on Friday. Yikes.

Anyway, minus that it was a great weekend ;)

Especially because of this:

Yay! I really love soft pretzels. Especially those the size of my head. :)

Other highlights of the weekend included a ferry ride with beautiful (blurry on my camera) night views of the city:

Being in Times Square at night with Bec and Dawn:

Seeing my friend Steph and her amazing rooftop in Brooklyn:005

Delicious brunch that involved beans on toast, bacon, and a poached egg (mmmm!!!):

And lastly, delicious veggie burgers and sweet potato fries

041 … with Arielle from the infamous now defunct Couch Cubicle and Betsy, formerly of Betsy Cooks Healthy Food and now of Betsy A Go Go!! Yay!

It was a great weekend and so fun to see such a variety of friends! :) I’m now rocking out on the Bolt Bus again on my way back to D.C. It’ll be nice to be home… although briefly since Wednesday I’m off to Seattle! I’m such a jet setter, obvi.

Goodnight! :)

There’s no city like New York City! And the soft pretzels are among many great qualities of the city that never sleeps and gives all there so much energy… Glad you’re recovered and look forward to the next blog!
