We had so much fun in food lab last night!
This class rules. I mean, we wear cute aprons instead of lab coats! (Sabrina, does my apron look familiar? )
I also love working in kitchens with spatulas, knives, and ovens instead of an actual lab with test tubes and bunsen burners!
Yesterday’s lab was all about MEAT!
We practiced all sorts of different ways to cook meat, comparing and contrasting (read: tasting!) the results of the different methods. In particular, we learned how to make lean cuts of meat still taste delicious — important for RD’s-to-be!
