I’m having so much fun here in San Francisco!
The Foodbuzz Festival officially kicked off last night with a welcome reception/tasting event. We had an entire pavilion to ourselves! Cool

Check out the insane sunset that was happening when we arrived:
The pictures don’t even do it justice
And then – it was on to the food and mingling! Foodbuzz invited a bunch of vendors and they were set up all throughout the pavilion offering us tastes of this and that for dinner. YUM!
This was the best thing ever – pork belly sandwich!
Drool.
Did I mention there was an entire TABLE of mini cupcakes?! They actually spelled out “FOODBUZZ”!

Even cooler – The Food Network was there filming a new TV show about this cupcake company, Mission Minis, and Tina and I were filmed listening to the owner tell us about the cupcakes and asking him questions! Cool! I hope we make it on
The other highlight of the night? Seeing good friends and meeting new ones
[with my roomies for the weekend – Jenna and Tina]

[with Stepfanie, Gina, and Mama Pea!]
I’m sad I didn’t get a full picture of my outfit – I had on gray leggings and the cutest light brown almost cowboy-ish boots
This morning’s adventure was a 4.5 mile run down to the pier and back with a bunch of other bloggers, and then breakfast! We hit up a place down the street called Bread and Cocoa for their awesome steel cut oatmeal and toppings bar. The perfect post-run fuel!

And then – a few of us decided to be naughty and instead of going to the morning sessions at the hotel… we headed back down to the pier for the famous San Francisco Farmer’s Market!

Miss Kath being photogenic and perusing the goods
Love that it’s right on the water!
[we found Meghann, too!]
If I lived here, I would come to the farmers market every weekend.

Time to get ready for the next outing – a tasting pavilion, similar to last night, but apparently even better! I can’t wait.

Ahhh! I am so happy that you are just having a baller time
!
(as always) great photos Anne!
we are out of town this weekend, or I’d be there too!! looks like a DELICIOUS time!
Anne, it looks like you are having such a great time!!
and that harbour, sunset? GORGEOUS.
Did you try food from Spencer on the Go? They were on the great food truck race show on Food Network and everyone on there raved about the food!!
San Fran is a beautiful town. Thanks for sharing your photos- I’ve never been before but it looks like an amazing place.
Y’all are stunning!! Sounds like you are having loads of fun.
We’ve gotta see these boots sometime…
That looks wonderful Anne – good job. Let us know when the Food Network is going to air your scene. Have fun
So funny that you said if you lived here, you’d go to the FM ea week. I live 3 miles from the Ferry Bldg, an easy bike ride or bus ride. And, I never go. It’s “too far” since we have farmer’s markets in ea neighborhood, it seems. I just wait for the one to take place on Sun ea week in my hood. Glad you are having fun!
Wow. How FUN. Why didn’t you take a picture of your Biostats book by the pier?
Ahh! This looks so amazing! Also, totally jealous that you got to see the Spencer on the Go food truck – they placed 3rd in Food Network’s The Great Food Truck Race and I totally watched the show.
Hope it’s as much fun as it looks!
That farmers market looks heavenly. I would love ANY farmers market worth going to every week. Ours is pretty measly in my area.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Looks fANNEtastic, Anne! Wonderful -
Good call skipping the sessions. This farmers market looks like a good choice!
I was at that farmer’s market about a month ago- simply amazing! I love rainbow chard! Can’t wait to hear more about the weekend
SO jealous! I wanted to steal the fresh leeks from the farmer’s market right out of your photo!
oh my – what a fun day!! It all looks so wonderful!
Love all of the pictures! You look right at home there
