I’m heading to downtown DC to meet one of my college roommate’s for lunch (stay tuned for a fun DC-tastic post later today!), so in the meantime…
I’m getting new fANNEtastic food business cards made! The ones I have now are pretty ghetto, so I’ve been working with the fabulous graphic designer Bailey Doehler to create some nice new ones. We decided fANNEtastic food needs its own logo to go on the cards, and have been debating options.
Here’s where you guys come in – we are in the last round of edits and I need your help deciding which logo to go with! Aren’t they all super cute?

Questions for you:
1) Which logo do you like better in terms of font style?
2) Which logo do you like better in terms of color scheme?
Whichever style we like best can be turned into our favorite color scheme.

Hi Anne! I like # 4 best for color scheme and font. The light tan color falls back just right so that “anne” stands out. I also prefer this font for “food” because it uses a lowercase “f” just like the logo, and it’s a casual yet refined font. (I’m in marketing so I’m allowed to say things like “refined” when describing a font.)

PS #5 Maroon color matches your blog streamer and it also looks like there is gray in the streamer.
Love the font in #4, but like the color in 2 & 3
I think I like #3 for color — the bright blue just reminds me of you and is more bubbly. BUt Renie has a point about #5 colors matching the blog.

I think the fonts on 2 and 5 look the best and I respond the most to the color scheme in number 2.
I really like 5 in terms of style and 3 in terms of color scheme – that being said I am really a blue loving person, but if I liked pink, 5 would be the definite winner.

I say #3 for both font and colors. “Food” is in a perfect font if you ask me – feminine and stylish. The colors don’t match your new blog theme, but I like them together. (If I had to pick for colors, I’d say #5, but with the #3 font.)

The “food” font in number 4 is fabulous, but I love how the blue and purple tie together in number 2. You can see the “Anne” part but it still looks like one cohesive word.

I love doing stuff like this. I like the fonts of #5. The too swirly ones seem to fancy and pretentious. And the color of #2/5.

I like #4 (but not in grey) because the word food is more casual. Some of the versions food seems so fancy so I would expect it to match the kind of recipes you make. Because I think your food is generally filled with down to earth and basic recipes, #4 works best in my mind. Good luck choosing! All great designs.
#5 just jumped out at me. I love the font of the word food. I agree that the colors seem close to your current scheme so it was familiar. I’m sure whatever you choose will work great.

I vote #3 for font and maybe even for color. Otherwise #1 for color.
I’m biased with the font – the font in #3 is the same as what we used for our wedding invites and stationary!

I like #6 for font and style. #6 also has a great color scheme too but I think #2 color scheme works best with matching your blog colors. Have fun designing your new cards. Merry Christmas!

Love 4 for font/style. Not sure about the color although I think it’d go with a lot how it is. I like it, not sure if I like a different color scheme better. They were all good. 4 stands out the most though.

Fonts in 4, colors of 3 & 5. that tan color may not print well on other materials if you want to brand other things with it.

I like #4 the best – the tan is classy and goes well with the purple. I think the “anne” really pops out and I love the food typeface.
