Hello again from the hot and steamy south!
Dear Humidity: I didn’t miss you. Love, Anne
I had a wonderful last day out in Boulder, CO yesterday. The Fitness & Health Blogger’s Conference ended at noon and miss Ashley came to meet me and Heather for lunch and an afternoon hiking adventure!
(Rocking my “"Will Run for Bacon” fANNEtastic t-shirt!)
Ashley lives over in Fort Collins, CO, which is about an hour away. It was so fun to see her again!
We started with lunch in downtown Boulder at a place called Mountain Sun Pub.
It was a really cool place — great vibe, great service, and great food!
I had the daily special “OK Divertirsi Wrap” for lunch. It was beer baked tempeh, Italian seasoned peppers and onions, parmesan cheese, fresh greens, and a roasted red pepper aioli sauce all wrapped up in a flour tortilla.
SO delicious! I really love tempeh and it was super flavorful.
After lunch, we headed out for a hike
We hit up the same spot where I hiked on Friday morning — but took a different trail this time.
It was stunningly beautiful, once again. Hiking makes me so happy
We had a great time chatting and hiking away. I think my lungs were better adjusted to the altitude this time — a lot less huffing and puffing
We spent about an hour and a half exploring!

With the ladies at the top:
We did a loop, and the second half of it was super rocky! Fun
Such a beautiful day to spend outside with friends. Thanks for the fun, ladies!

Oh, and guess what?! Just before we got into the car to go to the airport… an ice cream truck showed up!!!
Heather was clearly very pumped — and so was I! I turn into a 5 year old when I hear the ice cream truck music playing. Heather’s boyfriend Dustin bought us treats
Hello, snow cone!
Hehe.
I seriously cannot believe how quickly this conference weekend went by. I had such a blast getting to know some new bloggers, hanging out with old friends, and of course learning!
(Above with a blurry Sara, Theodora, Gretchen, Katie, and Heather at dinner Saturday night!)
(Katie, me, & Heather being awesome)
We couldn’t have had a more beautiful location, either.
Thanks for a great weekend, Fitness & Health Bloggers Conference! I’ll be back next year

Thanks to all that entered! Oh, and friends, my name is spelled Anne. Not Ann.
p.s. Now I kind of want bacon scented deodorant.

OMG!! I saw the ice cream truck turn in RIGHT when I was leaving. Dangit!!! So glad you had such a great time visiting Colorado!!
I know I was so bummed you had JUST left!! We seriously heard the music and all flipped out. Dustin was going to chase it down had it not turned right into the parking lot! Lol.
He totally would have. I’ve seen him do crazier things for a treat…
Best quote in the car: “Sorry, my tongue is kind of frozen right now. I can’t talk very well…”
heh. SO worth it! I think I drank my weight in water last night once we got home – oof.
Miss you already, come back to Colorado!
Bahahha. Amazing. Miss you (and the weather) already!
Aw, I love this. Such good times! Come back and visit soon!
I’m sad I was absent
Maybe next year!
No maybe – definitely!
Gorgeousness of Boulder!!! SO glad you got another day there! Love all of you I met at the conference. Super sweet and awesome.
OMGGGG what face am I making in that photo? How Stepford of me… I’m so creepy!
Lol creeeeeperrrrr
You are awesome Anne. The Rockies are beautiful but I would not like to live there because of the harsh winter’s. Nice place to visit though.
I prefer to visit in summer, too
Hahaha you guys look like you had SO much fun! Boulder is beautiful. Omg I can’t get over it. I want to jump into those pictures and soak up the sun and mountansssss
Woopsies…meant to post this here..
I never win ANYTHING! This rocks.
Confession: I’ve never had a snow cone in my entire life.
Whaaaaat?!?!? You need to remedy that immediately.
So beautiful! Really makes me want to go to CO.
LOVE all of the pictures! And I totally become a 5 year old at the sight of an ice cream truck too…haha!
I went to Boulder a couple of years ago, so I recognize quite a few of the places! It’s beautiful out there!
I’ve always heard Colorado was beautiful but never realized how beautiful it was until seeing your pictures. I am sure it’s even better in person. So glad you had a great time Anne.
Boulder looks so beautiful I hope to get there one day.
Wow, that is pretty. Glad you had such a terrific weekend. Thanks, as always, for sharing it!
You may be jealous of my jet-ski, but I’m jealous of your trip! I’ve never been outside the airport in Colorado and really want to go. Looks like an awesome time and great weather!
I did that same hike last February when I was in Boulder for an conference. It is just as beautiful in winter as in summer. Totally need to go back there. Such an amazing town!
