Win Your Choice of Reebok CrossFit Shoes!

Good evening, my friends! I’m popping in quickly to share a fun giveaway courtesy of my friends at Reebok.

IMG_4443

You guys know that as part of my ongoing partnership with Reebok, I received a pair of the Reebok CrossFit Nano 3.0s (on the left in the photo above) to try out a few months ago. I’ve been wearing them to all my CrossFit workouts since and have been really enjoying them. They’re lightweight and low to the ground making them great for strength workouts, and have nice grip and traction, too.

IMG_0007

A couple weeks ago, Reebok sent me a new pair of Nanos to try out – the Reebok CrossFit Nano Speed!

IMG_4440

Aren’t they cute? I love the neon.

These shoes were built to perform for CrossFit workouts and cross-training activities of any kind, in particular those that involve both lifting and sprints or short runs. They are basically a more running-friendly version of the Nano 2.0 and 3.0. They have a more narrow toe, making them easier to run in, but they still have a flat platform (4 mm drop) to provide stability for lifting.

IMG_4439

I am a big fan of the shoes – they are still sturdy and supportive, but a lot more flexible than the Nano 3.0s. Great traction, too! I tried them out for a boot camp-esque workout and they felt great – although just a heads up that they run large, so order a half size down if you pick up a pair. I think I’ll stick with the Nano 3.0s for fully strength-based workouts and work the Nano Speeds in when more running is involved with the WODs. I wouldn’t wear them for long runs, but for boot camp or CrossFit workouts that incorporate a little running, these were the perfect comfy mix of sturdy and flexible!

And now it’s your turn to check these shoes out! Two lucky fANNEtastic readers will win their choice of either the Reebok CrossFit Nano 3.0 or the Reebok CrossFit Nano Speed. The color is up to you, too – both shoes are made in all sorts of fun colors. My male readers are welcome to enter as well – both shoes also come in men’s versions!

To enter to win, simply leave a comment on this post sharing the most butt-kicking workout that you got in in the past week. Feel free to brag! :)

Want additional optional entries? Follow me on Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest, and “like” me on Facebook. Then leave one extra overall comment saying you did so!

I worked out with my friend the other day (who also happens to be a personal trainer) on leg day and almost a week later I am still feeling the residual effects. Here was our workout:

    4×15 leg press (140, 2×180, 230lbs)
3×12 (each leg) single leg squat (15lbs)
    3×12 hamstring curls (45lbs)
    2×15 regular box jumps
    2×10 side box jumps
walking lunges down 70ft hallway and back w/ 20 lb barbell
walking wide lunges down hallway and back, same weight
walking lunges down hallway and back (had to lose the weight ha)

I love leg day! If I am not sore the next day, I don’t feel like I’ve done enough. Believe me, this was plenty!

My best workout was last Friday. It was my second CrossFit workout ever and I think I’m still sore from the workout. I do BootCamp and StrikeFit (heavy weight bag) and decided to get past the fear and intimidation that was CrossFit. It was challenging, but I can’t wait to take the third class and continue to get stronger. I am even practicing headstands\handstands on my own! A pair of “official” CrossFit shoes would definitely compliment my new workouts! Thanks.

  28. 28

    butt-kickin’ workout?
    4-day straight yard sale
from a flood zoned, elevated house…
move it! move it! move it!

  29. 29

My toughest workout was a mental one, not necessarily a physical one. It involved just screwing up the courage to get back in the gym after a long time away.

I run Harvard stadium every week with the November Project, and this past week was super rough at 5:30 AM!

  152. 153

Those look like a great cross training shoe and love the bright colors too! Every week my butt-kicking workout is running the Harvard Stadium steps. If you haven’t been to this stadium, it’s a collesium and each step is about the size of three so it’s basically a lunge after lunge. I’ve been doing it almost every week for nine months and it still humbles me! I get the same high from the stadium that I do from long marathon training runs except it only half hour :)

  153. 155

Earlier this year, I made it my goal to do 200 lbs on the leg sled prone machine at my gym. I started at 120 lbs a few months ago, today I did 185 lbs!! I’ll meet my goal weeks before I planned!!! :)

I did 3.75 miles on a super hilly trail near my house. This the farthest I’ve ran since the training for the half I ran back in the Spring. Totally kicked my butt, but I felt great afterwards! I think I’ve caught the running bug again!

  160. 162

    I ran my fastest 5K ever! 8:12/minute miles… I’m hoping to do a sub-8 minute 5k at Thanksgiving.

  161. 163

  179. 181

Well, I’m in the middle of a bout of plantar fasciitis, so I haven’t been doing too much cardio lately. I have, however, been getting in a ton of arm workouts. They’re so much fun, and I love how I’m always sore the next day!

  180. 182

Would love these! My hardest workout of the week was a 25 mile trail bike ride this past Sunday. There were WAY more hills than I had anticipated and my quads were on fire!

  181. 183

    And tweeted! @littlemrslarge

  182. 184

Spin is always intense! We did intervals and it was intense!

  183. 185

I worked out with my trainer on Monday – she always keeps me on my toes and gave me quite the workout including the row machine, bosu, and lots of lunges!

  184. 186

I did interval training on the elliptical for 1 hour yesterday!

  185. 187

I went to bootcamp at D1 sports with a group of coworkers!

  186. 188

Thanks for the giveaway! I would love a pair of shoes to wear for cross training workouts instead of just my running shoes! Love the neon color. I just started medical school and haven’t had much time for running or weights, so most workouts kick my butt now.. I had a chance to get in a 7 mile run this weekend and loved/hated every minute of it.

  187. 189

I follow on your social media outlets!

  188. 190

I did the Hero WOD called Griff yesterday and I was shocked at how much running backward kicked my butt!!!! I would LOVE those neon shoes! Also, I’m a facebook fan!

I was on vacation last week so my workouts were not that challenging! I did paddleboard for the first time… so much fun!!

  191. 193

I’m coming back from an industry – so running 6 miles at a sub 10 pace was exciting for me this afternoon, especially in the heat that suddenly reappeared

  192. 194

I started crossfit a couple of weeks ago and I’ve never been able to complete whatever number of rounds we are supposed to do for the WOD, but today I finally did! And with almost 2 minutes to spare! Would love to win these shoes for crossfit! :)

  193. 195

Today I ran 6 miles hard followed by 45 minutes of swimming…..although it’s low-impact, sprints in the pool are no joke!

  194. 196

Did a taebo workout and couldn’t lift my arms the next day. Love doing crossfit and have been wanting to try reebok shoes.

  212. 215

Those shoes are so cute! I had a busy day of workouts last week, starting with a crazy WOD at Crossfit first thing in the morning, biked 8 miles to work, went to a free outdoor yoga class in Farragut after work, then biked home. Phew!

  213. 216

I’ve been traveling all week with limited free time, so I have made sure to walk a lot and take the stairs when possible. My biggest workout this week was rushing to the other side of the airport to get to a connecting flight….sometimes the workout is not conventional or planned :) Normally its a mix of pure barre and jogging. Thank your for all of your blog posts! It’s such an inspiration to keep my workouts going.

  217. 220

I’ve been wanting the Nano Speeds for a little while now. Best recent workout was probably Sunday’s WOD: 4 rounds of 12 deadlifts, 10 power cleans, 8 front squats, 6 shoulder to overhead. I just used 55# since I’m still pretty new and it was tough!

  254. 257

I don’t do kick-butt workouts but, if I had a new pair of Reebok Nanos, I would!

  255. 258

Definitely the half marathon I ran Sunday!

  256. 259

I completed an whole body/arms workout from the Nutrition Nut using my new kettlebell! Tough, but left me sweaty and feeling great afterwards!

I would LOVE a pair of the Nano 3.0s. I’ve been doing Crossfit for about 6 months and definitely need new shoes for it. :) My kick butt workout this week was a version of “Naughty Nancy” from the Games. We did:
    mile run — 800 m run — 400 m run — 200 m run — 100 m run
    15 OH squat — 15 OH squat — 15 OH squat — 15 OH squat — 15 OH squat

  271. 275

I’ve been following Lift Big Eat Big’s 12-week olympic weightlifting program and loving it. Today’s workout included a snatch complex that was killer! It was 1 snatch pull, 1 power snatch, 1 snatch. 4 sets of 3 so I was exhausted by the end.

  285. 290

My best workout so far this week was a back/biceps session in the gym yesterday followed by 30 minutes of cardio in the pool (swimming and lap walking). It’s not very hardcore, but it’s not bad for an 8-months pregnant lady. :)

  294. 299

Unfortunately I am recovering from a sports injury related concussion, so I still have to wait five more weeks until I am clear for intense physical activity. BUT I did yoga and power walked the hell out of this week. I LOVE these shoes and desperately want a pair. My fiancé wouldn’t think it was a justified purchase until I get back into working out full time. So… PICK ME!! PICK ME!!!

  295. 300

This weeknd I did my first sprint triathalon!! And I’m officially addicted. I’m about to sign up for another ne this upcoming weekend (and possibly the following weekend). This was the best workout I’ve done in a LONG time. And as an (unpaid) graduate student I could definitely use some new tennis to hit the gym for body pump and take along for my triathalons!

  296. 301

I’m just trying to get back into running, so the past couple of days I’ve done 3 miles. I’m hoping to increase speed and distance :)

  297. 302

I killed it with a boot camp. Thanks

  298. 303

most butt kicking workout this week was surprisingly Kickboxing yesterday…it was toughter than usual and really a great class!

  299. 304

I went on a 2.5 mile run last week. While that may seem like nothing to some, I’m slowly building up my running endurance so it was tough!

  300. 305

    squat challenge yesterday!

  301. 306

Sunday I did my first ever hot yoga class. It was 90 minutes and I lost at least 10lbs from sweat. It was awesome.

  302. 307

awesome giveaway! right now i’m hurting from 21-15-9 snatches & toes to bar from last night.

  303. 308

Since I’m in a taper week, the most butt-kicking workout was my 4 mile run yesterday, but will be doing my second half-marathon on Sunday!

  304. 310

Ugh, my working out has been lame… I have been sick! Ran 3.5 miles yesterday, and that has pretty much been it this week :(

  305. 312

I love the black, red and white nano 3.0s! They’re so cool. I don’t have any workout shoes that aren’t pink, so I think it’s time for a switch up!

  306. 313

I’m running my 5th 1/2 marathon this Sunday in NH. You’ve been an inspiration and someday hope to make the switch to the full marathon soon! You make it look too easy : )

  310. 318

I did Fran this week in Crossfit, and it absolutely kicked my butt! I went up in weight for this one since last time, and had a ton of trouble finishing, but I did it!

  311. 319

Yesterday I did 50 hang power snatches, 50 toes to bar, then 50 front rack lunges – but we had to do a 25m sprint every minute on the minute. It was tough!

  312. 320

On Monday night did back to back Les Mills’ CxWorx and Body Combat. Always a butt-kicking combo but this Monday particularly so – my abs are still sore!

  313. 321

I did a half ironman over the weekend. It was my first and it was hard, but I did it!!

  314. 322

    Just tweeted too! :)

  315. 323

This summer I started doing Soldierfit in Montgomery County and it’s awesome! One of the best workouts this week were pyramid stations with various strength exercises…curl & squat, plank and pike jumps, etc. The reason I love Soldierfit is because it does have a great amount of cardio (we did indian runs one day…such a flashback to middle school soccer!) So the Nano Speed would be a great shoe for me.

    Hi Anne!
I started Crossfit about 2 months ago and I’m quickly realizing how important good footwear can be! I’ve been using my running shoes this whole time and would love a Crossfit specific shoe :) One workout that really kicked my butt was “Roney”: 5 rounds of 200 m run, 11 Thrusters, 200 m run, 11 push press, 200 m run, 22 HRPU.

BodyPump kicked my butt (in a good way!) on Monday! Still rubbing on the Icy Hot! I’d love either pair of the shoes! I think they would both be great for some of the group fitness classes I do!

  323. 331

My most butt-kicking workout this week was my five mile run yesterday. I recently bought a new home and my new neighborhood is loading with hills in every direction, so every run now is butt-kicking!

  324. 332

My best workout in the past week was a 6-mile run after a long day of work. I had a lot of aggression to get out!

    Hack Squats (machine), 3 x 8 @ 100 lbs
    Leg Press, 3 x 8 @ 180 lbs.
Reverse Lunges, 3 x 8 each leg with 30 lb dumb bells in my hands

The most butt kicking workout was definitely my first experience at Unite Fitness Philly a week or two ago. Little did I know, it was a free workout for those training for their decathalon. Between the running, the box jumps, the squats, the battle ropes, the TRX…the list goes on and on, I was sore for A WEEK. Can’t wait until the next one.

I crossfit 5-6 days a week so all of my WOD’s are usually butt kicking. But I am still hurting from Monday’s WOD in particular…Overhead Squats kill me!

  356. 364

I beasted my crossfit workout today with 44lb KB swings and pullups+pushups as a mod for muscle ups. My forearms felt like jello by the end!

  357. 365

A total booty burner this week left my legs quivering…I loved it! The feeling of a great strength training circuit with soreness is accomplishment!! Love the shoes :)

  369. 377

My 20:20 workout class at the gym. A combination of strength and core that leaves my muscles shaking all over. I can’t wait until the day when I can up my hand weights to 8lbs and successfully finish all the circuits.

  370. 378

Jazzercise is my workout of choice!!! Always a killer cardio and strength workout that feels like a 1 hour dance party. Can’t beat it!

Hardest workout this week was bootcamp on the stairs! Trainer had us quick step up and down 10 times for a warm-up and then go up and down doing acceclerated number of squats, pushups, curls, and rows on each level. My quads were sore for days afterwards :)

  384. 392

Couch to 5k is kicking my butt. I’m coming back from an injury, so I’m using the intervals to build up strength in my knee, but also as speedwork. Though last week’s butt-kicking workout was my Sunday morning swim. Went to Walden Pond with a friend and even though it was 45 degrees out and so foggy we couldn’t see across the pond and the water was only about 60 degrees, we squeezed ourselves into our wetsuits and swam about half a mile. SO COLD! :)

  385. 393

I finally returned to crossfit endurance after a six-month break due to an injury. It was so hard, but SO good to be back!

  386. 394

Definitely a boot camp at Meridian Hill park — oof, what a booty kicker — but worth it for the pretty cascading waterfalls!

(PS– I’m VERY excited that these kicks come in size 5….we bitty footed souls aren’t often so lucky!)

  393. 401

My workout last night kicked my but for sure. 20 minutes of tabata sprints on the treadmill, followed by a crossfit inspired workout. A EMOM ladder workout with Kettlebell Swings and Thrusters. My heart rate was soaring and I was dripping in sweat.

  394. 402

My workout last Friday was a quarter mile run each time in between 8 different strength workouts like 30 box jumps and 30 switch lunges and pull ups!

    Elizabeth says:

Between training for my 3rd half marathon this year and body pump classes – I’m constantly cycling through the ‘good sore.’ I’ve been looking for some ‘lifting only’ shoes to limit the amount of miles on my running stability shoes so these would be great!

  396. 404

I tried my first Pure Barre class yesterday, and boy am I sore! It was a lot of fun, and my roommate swears by it, so I think I will keep up with it for a few weeks and see how it goes!

  398. 406

  399. 407

The most butt-kicking workout lately was pool sprint ladders. I think that is what my swim coach calls them. For just barely learning how to swim in the last six months, these just about killed me. But I completed them and I felt invincible. My next butt kicking workout is Saturday with a 5 k run- my first ever!

  400. 408

I did a Jari Love “Get Ripped” DVD this morning that left my legs shaking

  401. 409

I did two separate workouts on Monday. First, a 28 minute interval run, then later 30 minute strength workout. Both part if Self magazine’s 7-day detox.

  411. 421

I am in a bootcamp @ a local crossfit and yesterday’s WOD was 1 minute each of push presses, goblet squats, renegade rows and suitcase lunges then 1 minute rest. 5 rounds. Followed by an 8 min EMOM of 5 burpees. I AM FEELING IT today… hurts so good.

  412. 422

  442. 453

I did a partner WOD this week that had me feeling like I would throw up at the end–ugh: 300 walking lunges/1200m run w/ 14# med ball/100 burpees. Aaaand I was dumb and decided to run 8 miles beforehand. It was exhausting, but I felt like such a strong athlete!

Finding time to workout is hard for me. I work full time, and have a toddler at home, and a husband that travels 4-5 days out of the week. By the time I get home, spend time with the little one, feed her, put her to bed, clean up, prep for the next day, I’m EXHAUSTED and crash.

So I decided to start going to the gym during my lunch break. Depending on how many red lights I hit on my way there, I can squeeze in a 20-30 min workout so I have to make the time count when I get there! Yesterday, I ran 20 minutes on the treadmill… in intervals of 2min incline steady pace, and 2min flat speed surge. For a mama that is trying to find her way back to her pre-baby body… I was VERY proud!

  475. 487
