Your photos are awesome, truly inspirational. And I’m really impressed that you can do so well with a relatively simple camera. Clearly, your technique is great and you get the most of the capabilities of your camera. Well done!
Gorgeous! You are an artist behind a lens!
Love the photos, I need to develop my photography page more like you have done!
<3 from a fellow DC foodie! =)
What kind of camera do you use? I really want to get a new one (right now I just have a regular digital camera), but I’m worried it will be too expensive. Any ideas??
The photos on this page were all taken with my trusty point and shoot – I have a Fuji Film FinePix Z20fd.
Highly recommended!
And about a week ago I just purchased my first DSLR! The details are in this post: http://www.fannetasticfood.com/2010/05/03/im-a-real-photographer-now/. These are obviously more expensive, so I’d suggest checking out craigslist/amazon.com and seeing if you can buy one used if you want to go this route.
Good luck!
WOW Anne, your photos are just incredible! I really hope you have a lot of these framed around your apt/house or on canvas
That top one might be my favorite of all! Can’t wait to see more with your new cam
Thank you! Can you believe these are ALL point and shoot photos?! I’m excited to see what I can do with the new DSLR, too!
And I really should frame some… need to get on that!
These are amazing!
Your photos are inspirational. Anne, I don’t take enough pictures. I am tempted to take a course in developing pictures at home. Didn’t you say that you do that. Is it difficult?
I’ve never developed pictures at home – sorry! It seems to me it would probably be expensive and require a darkroom…
