Cinnamon Vanilla Sautéed Persimmons

This is a quick and easy recipe to make a big batch of on a Sunday and enjoy throughout the week!


Cinnamon Vanilla Sautéed Persimmons

Makes two servings


  • 2 small persimmons, chopped into bite sized pieces
  • 1/4 C skim milk
  • 1 tsp. maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
In a medium sized skillet, combine all ingredients. Bring to a simmer and sauté persimmons about 5 minutes, or until liquid boils off. Serve alone, with plain yogurt, or atop oatmeal. Enjoy!
