Savory Honey Mustard Granola Bar (no bake)
A quick and easy savory no bake granola bar recipe. Nutritious and delicious, and great as a portable on-the-go snack.
cups puffed brown rice cereal
cups old fashioned oats (gluten free if necessary)
cup whole toasted almonds
cup sliced toasted almonds
pinch black pepper
teaspoon dried thyme
tablespoons dijon mustard
cup almond butter
- In a large bowl, mix together the cereal, oats, almonds, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- In a separate bowl, stir together the mustard, honey, and almond butter. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Pack the mixture into a greased pan - 8x8 for thicker bars, 9x13 for thinner bars, and refrigerate for at least one hour. Cut into bars.
