Savory Honey Mustard Granola Bar (no bake)

A quick and easy savory no bake granola bar recipe. Nutritious and delicious, and great as a portable on-the-go snack.


  • 2 cups puffed brown rice cereal
  • 1 1/2 cups old fashioned oats (gluten free if necessary)
  • 1/2 cup whole toasted almonds
  • 1/2 cup sliced toasted almonds
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • pinch black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup almond butter


  1. In a large bowl, mix together the cereal, oats, almonds, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  2. In a separate bowl, stir together the mustard, honey, and almond butter. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  3. Pack the mixture into a greased pan - 8x8 for thicker bars, 9x13 for thinner bars, and refrigerate for at least one hour. Cut into bars.
