How to Carve a Chicken

What You'll Need:

ROTISSERIE/ PRE-COOKED CHICKEN

LONG & SHARP KNIFE

(OPTIONAL: CARVING FORK)

Step 1

Place chicken breast-side up. Slice down the center along the breastbone on both sides.

Step 2

Use your hands to peel away each chicken breast.

Step 3

Grab a leg bone & bend backwards at the joint to remove thighs & drumsticks. (Make a cut at the joint if needed).

Step 4

Pull the wings away from the body, using your knife to separate them at the joint.

Step 5

Remove bones from thighs & drumsticks. Use 2 forks to shred chicken meat.
