Wild Rice Soup Ingredients

Step 1

Brown diced turkey or chicken breast in a skillet (skip this step if using pre-cooked meat). Remove & set aside.

Step 2

Saute onion until translucent. Add carrots, celery & garlic. Cook until softened.

Step 3

Add browned turkey/chicken back, plus wild rice, chickpeas, lemon turmeric, salt, pepper & chicken broth.

Step 4

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover & simmer 40-45 minutes. Remove lemon & stir in spinach.

Step 5

Serve immediately with warm, crusty bread.
