You know what’s crazy? In just over a month we will get to meet our daughter! After weeks (and weeks) of putting things off, being able to say “our baby is due next month” has finally lit a fire under us in terms of getting the baby’s room ready. No more time to waste, right?!

My mom came over last week and earlier this week to help get us organized; the crib and dresser/changing table combo we ordered a month ago was finally delivered, which means we now have somewhere to put all the cute baby clothes and toys that we’ve been gathering over the past 7 months.

The baby clothes, of course, have been one of the most fun things to start buying ever since finding out I was pregnant back in March. I mean, how insanely cute are baby clothes?!

One specific brand I’ve been really loving lately is the new Spencer by Jaclyn Smith line of baby clothing from Kmart. When they reached out to me about partnering to help promote the launch of the new line, I took one look at the outfits and said “yes, please!!” Each item is made with ultra-soft 100% cotton and cotton blends, and everything is reasonably priced from $19.99 to $29.99. Affordable AND adorable = total win. It’s crazy how expensive some baby clothes can be!

Ranging in sizes from newborn to 12 months, all items in the collection are also beautifully packaged in gift boxes with a to/from tag and the line’s signature fox ribbon, which means you don’t even need extra wrapping if you buy this as a gift! (Please ignore the smushed bottom left corner of the package – I’m not the most nimble right now and dropped/stepped on it, fail. #reallife)

In addition to an assortment of really cute designs of both the girl’s and boy’s 3 piece body suit and sleep & play sets, the line also features a 2 pack fox + bear receiving blanket set (SO cute), a ridiculously adorable fox sweatshirt with leggings, and my personal favorite, this fox-themed hooded sweater coat with leggings. The little ears and buttons on the sweater = I die.

I can’t WAIT to dress our little girl in that!!

What makes a really cute baby outfit in your opinion? I love all the baby animals – especially foxes, elephants, and giraffes!

It's amazing how fast it is going by. It seems like only yesterday that you announced your news! Adorable little onesies! You are going to have a well dressed little lady when she makes her arrival!

Does Jaclyn Smith make anyone else think of Zoolander? "I suggest you and your Kmart Jaclyn Smith Collection outfit stay the hell away from Derek Zoolander!" No? Just me? Haha. Those are really cute clothes. I LOVE baby clothes. And the sleepers are really practical. My baby lived in onesies until he was 8 months old---just so much easier than outfits when you have a million diaper changes a day. :)

Soooo cute!! I love little girl jammies! Baby clothes can get expensive, and you do so many outfit changes in those first months you really do need a good amount.

It's really hard to tell how much we'll actually need! But everyone keeps saying have a lot of basics, like these sleepers!

Uh, am I the only one who thinks 20-30 bucks for a baby outfit they will only use a few hours (probably ever, depending on size) is ridiculously expensive and not affordable at all? I bought stuff from carters and H&M and those were truly affordable prices. Sure the foxes are super cute, but there are a ton of cute baby stuff out there and no need to spend that much money for them. Babies get changed multiple times a day sometimes, they need a lot of outfits unless you want to do laundry daily, best to have more clothes vs more expensive clothes.

Totally get that - the sleeper pack was only $25 though and that was for 3 sleeper PJs - at only a little over $8 per outfit I'd definitely call that a deal! And as for the hooded sweater and leggings - they were cute enough I was cool with paying $30 for just that one outfit. :)
