Beach Biking, BBQ, & Burgers

Today is my last day at the beach! :( Wahhh. I’m so sad to leave — especially since Matt and his family are staying until Saturday. I’ve had such a fun time this week, though! Yesterday, we all began our day with a bike ride. I had a pretty sweet cruiser as my ride (it came with the beach rental house). The boys — Matt, his brother Continue Reading …

OBX Love

Morning from the Outer Banks! Yesterday was another good mix of relaxing, playing in the water, and good food. I also began my day with another good run, this time with our friend Tom who is staying in the other half of our big group in the house down the block. He’s SPEEDY — this was a slow pace for him, but a great one for me, especially Continue Reading …

It was fun to see them all at the transition area — one of the things that kind of sucked about the race was that you never really saw the people in the other van that much! We missed them! Continue Reading …

Reach the Beach Relay: Leg 1

What a whirlwind the past few days have been with the Reach the Beach Relay and starting my clinical (hospital) internship yesterday! Thank you for all the good luck wishes for day 1 yesterday — my first day went well and was much less scary than I thought it would be. :) I’ll share more thoughts later this week! For now — back to Reach the Continue Reading …
