Happy holidays from the grad school gang!

As I mentioned, the grad school girls and I got together on Saturday for some festive celebrations in honor of the fact that our biochem exam was over! We all headed over to Elle’s (aka “The Clubhouse”) around 3 to begin the festivities. Comfy clothes were mandatory.

Our first order of business was to pop open some champagne and decorate Elle’s townhouse for the holidays!

By the time we finished decorating, Elle’s place was transformed into a holiday wonderland. 🙂

The celebrating continued with wine:

And pizza! From Whole Foods, since we’re RD’s-to-be and wanted to get whole wheat crust. Nerd alert.

I had no idea you could order pizza from Whole Foods! They don’t deliver (you call it in and then pick it up in-store), but Libby had to go home anyway to feed her dog, so she picked it up for us on the way home.

It was DELICIOUS — we got one veggie-tastic pizza and one with mushrooms and pepperoni. We demolished both. 🙂

SUCH a fun day with my friends — and just what we all needed after what was a bit of a rough semester. We didn’t hang out nearly enough since we were all so busy!

We all got dressed up and went out dancing after the hang out sesh — but not before taking some silly photos before we left, of course. 🙂

Yes, those are spatulas. What of it?

Alas, we still have one more final exam on the docket — Medical Nutrition Therapy tomorrow at 8 a.m. I hit my apartment gym this morning and now I’m off to a coffee shop for the day to study with a couple of the girls.

Have a great Monday! And by the way — want some holiday gift ideas? I was going to make a new gift guide, but I realized it was going to be almost exactly the same as last year’s, so I decided to stick with that one. Check it out: the fANNEtastic Holiday Gift Guide. It includes gift ideas for your favorite runners and foodies. Enjoy!

What a fun night! That's one of the downfalls of living abroad.. these amazing holiday parties with school girlfriends! I'm sure you felt the same when you were in Prague! It's just not the same when you're not closeby home :(

Oh gosh, yes - I was lucky that my mom and brother were able to come over and visit me for Christmas or else I would have been so sad! I definitely missed all my friends and the holiday parties, though! :(

I love studying at coffee shops! It makes me focus better somehow and makes the whole process a bit more enjoyable. I can never study in my room.

I have to say I love the truth to the fact that being with dietitians you would order the wheat crust (even when eating 'unhealthy' there are still ways to sneak in good nutrition!). Good luck with exams...almost there!

No Whole Foods near me but I'll have to checkout Hy-Vee they make GF crusts which is a must for me. Healthy toppings all the way though.
