Hey friends! Hope you all had a great weekend 🙂

Friday I saw NEW MOON with a couple girlfriends (yes, we are 14 apparently)!!! If you saw New Moon, what’d you think?? I actually really liked it. Much better than Twilight I thought! Plus Jake with his shirt off the whole time was kind of awesome, especially since anytime he came on screen the whole theater would start shrieking. Lol!. I can’t believe he’s only 17, ha. Jail bait!!

Saturday morning I headed off to Baltimore for the rest of the weekend to see a bunch of my best girlfriends from college 🙂 YAY!!!

004

Not only were we all on the same freshman floor, but I was roommates with all of them at some point either during or after college!

We did some shopping and enjoyed wandering along the harbor 🙂 … Until a totally sketchy dude started taking pictures of us on his cell phone. Lol! Gross.

001Purdy 🙂

It was so fun to see them 🙂 There’s a group of 7 of us that all try to get together at least once a year. Getting five out of the seven together was not too shabby! We had a fun dinner out last night, went out to brunch today, and then all parted ways. Sniff sniff!

In other news, I can’t believe that this week is THANKSGIVING!!! Holy crap where did the time go!?

I’ll be heading down to Tampa on Wednesday to see my family. (Jenna, I wish you were going to be thereeeee!!!) My dad will be out of town for work, so my mom, brother, and I will be celebrating with some friends 🙂

My brother and I signed up for a 10k Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning in downtown St. Petersburg, so I’ve been doing some more running the past couple weeks to get ready!

It’ll be fun because Megan (aka MegaNerd!) and her boyfriend are running with us, too! So on Wednesday of this week, I ran an impromptu 10k in my (VERY hilly!!!) neighborhood to make sure I’m on my A game 😉

001 That’s my hardcore running face, obviously 😉 And I’m sporting my Army Ten Miler shirt! Watch out, Megan!! 😉

Are you running a Turkey Trot this year? I just love them — such a great way to get in some fun movement, therefore increasing my hunger for the awesome food to come!

Oh and my knee is totally fine again and I’ve been running without my knee sleeve, which makes me really happy. Apparently it just hates when I consistently run longer than 8 or 9 miles. Blah!

Alrighty I’m off! Stay tuned for a fun cookie recipe tomorrow — I’m meeting my friend Ben for lunch on Tuesday and promised him some cookies as payment for helping me make my website all pretty last weekend 🙂 I think we should probably move to a cookie based economy. Thoughts?

Night! 🙂

haha, my whole family was all about the turkey trot until we realized it was 5 miles instead of 5K! i'm afraid we decided to opt out in favor of "the phillips trot" which will be a healthy 3.1 miles :O) but i ADMIRE your stamina!!
hehe hey, a 5k is still awesome! enjoy :)
