Victoria’s Secret Sport Clothing Review

Thank you to Victoria’s Secret for sponsoring this post! While this was a sponsored opportunity from Victoria’s Secret all content and opinions expressed here are my own.

I recently discovered something awesome: Victoria’s Secret now has fitness apparel. Did you guys know this? I didn’t!

Knockout Crop in Cold Mountain Glow in the Dark (!) and Seamless Tank in Black Melange (<—on clearance right now)

When Victoria’s Secret reached out to me about trying their sport apparel and promoting an awesome new years deal they’ll be running starting on January 7th (more on that in my follow up post – stay tuned, because it’s AMAZING), I was intrigued. I had a feeling their stuff would be cute, but would it be functional/comfy?

Well, good news: it’s not only insanely cute, but it’s also really comfortable and high quality, too. In fact, I already fell of my new kick scooter (amateur hour over here – don’t worry, I’m a pro now though) and skidded on the pavement in the tights pictured below (the Knockout Tight in a Limited Edition print called “Icelandic Scenic” – LOVE), and there’s not even a scratch on them. Impressively durable. 🙂 I’m now coveting the tights in the limited edition “Incan Geo” print – so fun! (The tank is the Ultimate Racerback Tank, which I was also a big fan of.)

Why are their workout pants/crops so great, besides being cute? The fit is perfect, the fabric is really soft and wicks sweat, and they stay put when you move, most importantly. They also have a nice and high (but not awkwardly high) waist, so you aren’t flashing everyone your underwear while doing squats or downward dogs.

As for the sports bras, I am absolutely in love with the Lightweight by Victoria’s Secret Sport Bra. This is seriously the most comfortable sports bra I’ve ever found, while still being fitted/functional.

It’s made of a nice mesh material, and it has molded cups inside (NOT the stupid inserts that fall out in the wash and get bent and weird) built into the bra, so it contours you nicely without flattening you out.

Considering Victoria’s secret is known for their regular bras, it’s no surprise that their sport bras are just as good – they use the same fit technology used to construct their regular bras, and the sport bra collections are sized to fit like a normal bra (e.g. instead of just buying size medium, you’d get your actual bra size – 36B, for example, which gives a more accurate fit/better support). I like the crossed back, too. The straps are adjustable – thumbs up.

If you’re more well endowed than I am, they have a ton of more structured (but still really cute) sports bras for you guys, too. Check them out – you can search specifically by size so you get what’s best for you without sorting through all the others. Also: until 1/20/16 you can get free shipping on orders over $100 – use the code FREESHIP100.

Bottom line: would I spend my own money on Victoria’s Secret’s Sport clothes? Yes, I would. I was given a stipend for the two tights and the sports bra, but I loved their stuff so much I bought the two tanks on my own dime. And I’m planning on taking advantage of the awesome deal I’ll be sharing with you guys this week, too. 🙂 Stay tuned!

Did you know Victoria’s Secret had sport apparel? Have you ever tried it?

I've loved Victoria's Secret's sport stuff for a few years! I have the racerbacks and the bras, a few nice long-sleeve tops with thumbholes, and some great shorts and yoga pants. Oh, and the socks are super cute and comfy! Okay, I love it all :)

The VS sprots bras that zip in the front are life savers! They're the only sports bra I'm comfortable running in for long distances, and I'm a full C/little D cup size - they do the job right!!

Very cute stuff! Was just curious if you've tried the pants on a run and if so, how they hold up. Thanks!

Not yet, but I plan on it soon! I did run around in the long tights quite a bit while playing tennis with Matt over the weekend, though, and they were great!

Most sports bras make me feel like I can't breathe or make my shoulders ache. I finally splurged on 2 VS sports bras in early 2015. They are the only two I wear now! I've always been hesitant thinking their workout pants/tops wouldn't be great quality. Time to try their other items now. Thanks for your review!

VS Angel Sports Bra are the only two I've tried. Well worth the $$ - built in liners (yes, I hate those removable liners too) and no contortionist moves with the front adjustable straps. Can't wait for Thursday! :D

Yes! I LOVE VS sports wear. As a 34DD bra girl, they are my go to for sports bras because girl needs to strap those things down! But they also have some fantastic sports bras for multi use... strap down, support, and separate so that I don't have to change my bra 3-4X a day. Who has time for that? Their other sports stuff I love too but I can't afford it.

I have a Vickie Secret gift card that I haven't spent...and I've been eyeing their sports bras online, but have never gone to the mall to see if I'd actually like them. You've saved me a trip, thanks! :D

I recently saw Julie from PaleOMG post about VS's sportswear... glad to hear another positive opinion! I need some new workout gear, but don't want to spend a ton of $, especially on stuff that may turn out to be disappointing. So, I'm excited to hear what the deal is on Thursday!

Ahh I can't believe you just discovered that they have workout clothes...they are easily my favorite. Actually, I don't like the tights to workout in, they are a little too heavy, but I own 3 pairs of just the plain black that I wear as my casual black leggings. But their sports bras and tops are definitely winners!!

Clearly I'm behind the curve here! Which leggings did you find too heavy? I didn't find that at all! Especially the long ones were very lightweight.

The knockout tights and capris are heavy, especially for running. I normally run in Athleta, Under Armour, or New Balance gear which are all very lightweight. I still use the knockouts though. I have the ones you show in this post and they are heavy but it's fine for winter time or for a studio class like yoga or barre.

Just to clarify--I definitely love the tights and didn't mean to sound critical as I prefer thicker leggings, especially in the wintertime. The other brands I mentioned are my go-tos for summer and racing.

I love their sport apparel! I have two sport bras from them that I loved but I'm really liking the one in your post! The ones I bought had underwire in them, and while good for activities like elliptical, weights, yoga, etc. they chafed during my runs. Looks like I'll be doing some online shopping today :)

I'm not a huge fan of underwire in sports bras - seems too intense/constrictive - although I can't speak for those who need more support than I do. :)

I prefer to go commando with my workout crops/capris/tights. Do you find the VS options to be thick enough so as not to show all the goods?

Did you find the pants expandable? I really want a pair, but they only have a size smaller than what I usually use ... so I was hoping it is possible to stretch them out a bit, or that they are flexible ..?

Hmmm they are pretty snug - they are stretchable spandex type material but the waist might be too tight? I'd probably hold off!
