Photos from last night at Saturdays in Saxapahaw with my grad school girls Elle, Jill, and Lauren. Wine, cheese, salami, bread, grapes, a live bluegrass band, a farmers market, and great company on a hot summery night. I even spotted the first fireflies of the season! Life is good 🙂

Hope you’re enjoying your Memorial Day weekends!

I LOVE the Carolinas! We went to a bluegrass festival in Charleston last year and it was utter perfection!

Looks like fun, I've never been there but since my husband was laid off NC was one of the places we looked online for a job.

Reminds me before we were married I lived in Blue Ridge, Ga. and went to all the Bluegrass gatherings. I have a square dance badge from Hiawassee Dam that says "Best dam dancer by a dam site." I'm a country girl at heart. Glad you are enjoying it. Pssst, I used to no some moonshiners in the hills of North Ga. Tenn. NC tee hee. Yes, those were the days. HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY EVERYBODY.

Those onsies are so adorable; not that I have a baby to dress... but still so dang cute!! While I'm a city girl at heart; I love getting out to the country and being able to run in the grass barefoot.

Looks wonderful, Anne. Thanks, as always, for sharing another enjoyable time. Gives me energy reading of your adventures. But, as someone above advised, you do need to get out to Ashville. It is lovely...
