A snowy walk in the woods

Today was a Robert Frost day for sure.

There’s a trail in the woods near my house that I go running/walking on sometimes. It was nice and sunny today and a bit warmer, so I decided to head out there for a snowy hike 🙂

It was gorgeous. Everything was very pristine and quiet. There’s something so calming about being out in the woods in the snow.

You’d think I lived in New Hampshire, not Virginia, huh?

I was joking with Megan earlier on gchat that apparently I now have a snow blog instead of a food blog 😉 I can’t help it. It’s just so pretty!

I especially love this cabin along the trail. Isn’t it gorgeous all snowy with its Christmas wreath?

Off to dream of winter wonderlands 🙂

Goodnight, friends.

That cabin is so pretty! Where did you go hiking? I grew up in your area, so I'm curious...

I don't mind your snow blog - we haven't had much yet. Apparently we're going to have a green Christmas :(

Glad to find someone who is as in love with this snow as I am!! It was a pain to be snowed in on Sat but DC could not look any prettier right now! :O)

NH only got 2 inches of snow over the weekend, the storm just barely reached us :) Probably going to be the only time I can say that. Good luck getting out of DC for the holidays!

Love those Robert Frost days. The non-depressing ones, that is :-) Beautiful photographs!
