Continuing with the avoid buying groceries challenge, I had a really random dinner last night. But it actually ended up being delicious 🙂

018

I combined half of this random 90 second brown rice mix in my pantry (which is actually really yummy and healthy, minus the high sodium content… lame)

001

with half a can of black beans and some frozen broccoli and peas. Topped it off with salsa and I was ready to rock!

015

Delish.

Sadly, my friend bailed on me for the drink last night, so no pretty DC pictures, but I did still get my hair cut 🙂 It was getting SO long and really annoying me, so I basically told my stylist to go to town. Two and a half inches later, and:

027

Yay! I haven’t had it this short in ages. I feel so much lighter 🙂

I really wish I had the patience to dry my hair daily. I love it straight! Usually I just wash and wear and scrunch it for waves. I have the thickest hair known to man and it takes like 40 minutes to dry. I just can’t bring myself to do it! In Prague, my wet hair used to freeze on my walk to the tram in the mornings. Brrrr!

I’m off to the gym! I’m ALLEGEDLY flying to Tampa this afternoon finally. I’ll believe it when the wheels leave the tarmac…

Stay tuned later for a super fun random facts about me post 🙂

Oh and check out this hilarious comic my friend just sent me — totally what I needed when I was studying for finals!! Especially in regards to Twitter and blogs 😉

Your hair looks cute. I'm actually flying to DC today. Maybe we'll run into each other in the airport. If a girl with curly hair is looking at you like she knows you, it's me!
