I’m back in Chapel Hill after another long drive from DC. No. more. driving!! It’s nice to be home — and even nicer because Matt is home this week, working remotely instead of from DC! Yay
We went on a 5 mile trail run with my friend Tim this morning, and Tim was talking up my Chicken Shawarma Pita Pitzas — he made some for his wife last week and they were a big hit! Clearly I had to make Matt some for lunch, so he could see for himself

He gave them two big thumbs up — said they taste just like something from a restaurant!
I dug in as well. Messy food = more fun, clearly.

I’m heading off to school now to meet up with the girls before class to go over our Biostats homework and to catch up — I missed them over break! Then tonight should be a really fun Food Science class — our group project was to take a recipe and modify it by using a soy product and reducing the fat to less than 30%. Tonight in class each group will make their before and after recipes — I can’t wait to see the results! My group is doing beef chili vs. tempeh chili. Yum! I’ll be sure to take lots of pictures 😉
