Friends: have you tried Bombas socks yet? If not, you should. Bombas are athletic-leisure socks, engineered to look better, feel better, and perform better than other socks. I first found out about their socks when they reached out to me about doing a blog review last year, and have been loving them ever since. Most of my family also now owns multiple pairs of Bombas socks – I bought a ton of their athletic ankle socks and regular calf socks as stocking stuffers this past Christmas!

When I first tried Bombas socks (which I now always want to call “bomb ass socks” like my friend Theodora) last year, they only had two main options: ankle and calf height socks, both made from their moisture wicking Extra Long Staple Cotton. Matt and I have been loving rocking their ankle socks for workouts over the past year – their blister tab, which is a tiny ankle cushion that sits directly where your shoe hits your leg to prevent rubbing, chafing, and falling down, is perfection.

They also feature great support and extra tightness in the arch, and a Y-shaped stitch heel which creates a natural cup that keeps your socks in place.

We also have enjoyed their calf height cotton socks for day to day use – Matt wears them all the time for work and so do I. They stay up really well without being too tight, don’t make your feet sweat (even in rain boots!) and are insanely comfortable. Love the reinforced footbed for added cushion!

Since last year, Bombas has expanded their offerings and we were excited to try out some of the new options.

Matt was especially pumped about the new invisible socks because he wears boat shoes all the time!

Some of the invisible socks from other brands fall down on him, but the Bombas ones stay put. The adjustable foot coverage is cool too – they can slide up and down a bit to fit your shoe!

They also offer quarter length socks now that come just above the ankle. The cuff isn’t too tight or too loose and is engineered to always stay in place!

The final new offering is merino wool socks – perfect for keeping you cozy on chillier days. Matt gave them the thumbs up. 🙂

I hope you guys will give Bombas a shot and try some of their new options if you haven’t already! They have a 100% happiness guarantee, so if you don’t think they are the most comfortable socks you’ve ever worn they will refund your entire purchase – seriously. 🙂

Also amazing? Bombas has a mission to help those in need. Did you know that socks are the number one clothing request at homeless shelters? For every sock purchased, Bombas donates a pair to someone in need – they have donated over 900,000 socks in all 50 states since launching in October 2013! Here is a great video about their donations and impact.

I will leave you with this funny behind the scenes photo that Matt snagged of me because he thought I looked totally ridiculous taking pictures of my feet in the sky (for the first picture in this post). 😉

I've been wanting to try Bombas and I think now's the time, especially with 20% off! Question, did you choose the size based on your running shoes or regular shoes? In regular shoes i'm a 7.5 but my running goes are an 8.5...this is always a predicament for me.

I love how they donate a pair of socks for every pair of socks to someone in need. How amazing! I do have a few pairs of these socks and they are so comfy!

I have always bought them directly from their website - I believe that's the only place to purchase them as of now! Plus, that's how you get to use my coupon code! :)

Have you ever worn Smartwool socks? That's what I always run in (and, frankly, wear all the time). How do these compare?

I have, but only their really thick/intense high socks made specifically for winter hiking! Bombas socks are more lightweight but cushy, although I haven't tried the more minimal offerings from Smartwool.

Bought them after your original post because the school that my husband coaches at are the Killer Bees so I tend to be obsessed with bees. Ended up replacing all my socks with them after my initial purchase! Actually have a pair on right now! Also, love their motto "Bee Better". Bought the super comfy tee shirt they sold and the cute bracelet! Love that they donate socks for each pair bought! Super happy.

Yay, that's awesome Lillian! So glad you love them, too - that's perfect with your husband's school! :) I didn't realize they had a tee and bracelet - I'll have to check those out too!

I first tried Bombas when I saw them on Shark Tank. They are really great socks. My husband is obsessed with the calf length socks, I got him an 8 pack for Christmas. I will definitely buy him the no-show ones. His boat shoes stink, lol!

Right?! So do Matt's - and his other no-show socks always slip down! He really likes the new Bombas ones - I hope your husband does too!
