Healthy Recipes with Ground Turkey

I love cooking with ground turkey because it’s so versatile and quick cooking. It’s leaner than ground beef or sausage, but still has plenty of flavor. You don’t always have to use lean ground turkey, either – some recipes (like meatloaf or meatballs) work better with a little fat in them to keep the meat moist!

So today, I wanted to share some of my best ground turkey recipes! From chili to turkey burgers, these are all easy to make and totally delicious.

Now, on to the list!

Tomato Garlic Pasta with Ground Turkey

This is the perfect dish for your next pasta night!

Ground turkey, penne, and zucchini is tossed with a light and delicious tomato garlic sauce. Easy, quick, and will keep you satisfied.

Curry Turkey Burgers with Mint Yogurt Sauce

If you’re looking for an ultra-flavorful, juicy turkey burger: look no further.

These curry turkey burgers with mint yogurt sauce are super easy and ridiculously tasty. Serve with sweet potato fries for a crave-worthy weeknight meal!

Butternut Squash Turkey Chili

This fall/winter-inspired chili features ground turkey, butternut squash, two types of beans, and more veggies.

It’s both yummy and nutrient-dense – the best of both worlds!

Serve with sour cream, avocado, a side salad, crusty bread…whatever floats your boat. 🙂

Turkey Meatloaf Muffins with Dijon

These adorable mini meatloaf muffins made with ground turkey are packed with flavor from dijon mustard, cranberries, and herbs. They have a perfectly moist texture as well!

Throw in a couple sides, and you’ve got a meal the whole family will love. They make great leftovers, too!

Sesame Ginger Ground Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Lettuce wraps are one of my absolute favorite ways to enjoy ground turkey.

These quick and easy lettuce wraps are bursting with sesame ginger flavor, and have a delicious crunch from the shredded carrots.

They’re always a crowd pleaser and are also on the table in 15 minutes flat.

Turkey Barley Soup with Veggies

This cozy, comforting soup will warm you right up!

It’s filling, too: packed with ground turkey, chewy barley, kidney beans, and veggies. The perfect chili for cold winter nights.

Honey Sriracha Ground Turkey Meatballs (Crockpot)

These juicy turkey meatballs are simmered in the slow cooker in a delectable sticky honey sriracha sauce. It’s salty, sweet, and a little spicy, with soy sauce and ginger as well for tons of flavor.

Serve these on their own as an appetizer, or with rice/noodles and a side of veggies for a drool-worthy meal.

Jamaican Jerk Turkey Burgers

Jamaican jerk turkey burgers topped with homemade pineapple salsa (made with red onions and bell peppers) are the ultimate grilling recipe! But don’t worry, you can make them in a pan too. 🙂

The unique flavors are perfect for switching up your dinner game. Want to make this recipe gluten-free? Serve the burger patties and salsa in a lettuce wrap or over rice!

Crockpot Turkey Chili

Let your crockpot do the cooking with this slow cooker turkey chili! It’s flavorful and veggie-packed, with tomatoes, bell peppers, and more. All the flavors get simmered together for a delicious, tasty chili the whole family will love.

Top with avocado, cilantro, cheese, and/or sour cream, or enjoy it on its own! Like it spicy? Toss in some diced jalapeños for an extra kick!

Instant Pot Stuffed Peppers

If you haven’t tried stuffed peppers, you’re missing out! These bell peppers are stuffed with ground turkey, beans, veggies, and cheese and roasted to perfection.

This recipe cooks them in an Instant Pot, so they’re much quicker than traditional stuffed peppers made in the oven.

Bonus: ground turkey also makes a great filling for tacos! Just cook it up on a skillet with some taco seasoning and garlic powder, and you’re good to go.

I hope these healthy recipes with ground turkey have you inspired to cook up something yummy for dinner! Most of them are easy too, which is an added bonus. 🙂 Enjoy!
