Yesterday morning at the Fitness & Health Blogger’s Conference I tried something completely new (to me) — a “Kangoo Jumps” workout class courtesy of Body Dynamics!

Cool shoes, huh?! It was like having little built-in trampolines!

A woman named Wendy led us in a one hour workout class in the shoes. It was SO much fun and a great workout, too — good cross-training for running since it’s low impact!

Awkward self-portrait that’s blurry because I started to almost fall over, heh:

We spent the first 30 minutes bouncing around in a sort of exercise style class, then spent some time running around outside (the shoes are really fun to run in — especially since you get really weird looks from everyone else), and finished with some core work!

Since photos don’t really do this class justice, I took a video so you guys could see what we were really up to 🙂 Enjoy!

I saw this on some show that tries to find new products to endorse or fund! The lady had a ridiculous amount of energy when presenting the product...must be the fashion confidence boost from them.

It's also impossible to not be smiling/laughing while working out on bouncy shoes :)

These look more like a toy than a workout tool! Like something I would have wanted for Christmas when I was ten! Weren't you afraid of falling over?!

I know, right?! I totally would have wanted these for Christmas. In fact, I still do now, haha. They were actually very stable, too!

The place I work out at has this class and I've yet to try it. At first I thought they were kind of a joke and that it wouldn't feel like exercise. Everyone told me it is a great class and I must try. Now I'm convinced from your post! I tried to view the video but it is telling me it is private. Have a happy Sunday!

I've seen people doing this exercise in NYC, they are usually in a group running/hopping down the streets haha, it's quite a sight to see! But now I finally know what it is called!
