You guys – it’s baby duck season right now in DC. So adorable!!

It was also the most gorgeous morning ever to be outside and on the run! My girl Sokphal and I met up for some morning miles and we couldn’t have picked a better day. Hooray for the humidity breaking – it was crisp and cool out there!

We did our usual route from Iwo Jima to the World War II Memorial and back, chatting away. 🙂

I forgot that since it was Wednesday, that meant that the November Project (a free outdoor workout group) would be out on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial! Were any of you guys out there? 🙂 Looks like there was a huge group!

I was in the mood for my flour free breakfast pancake after the run (although I think tomorrow I might have overnight oatmeal again – so glad you guys enjoyed the easy overnight oatmeal recipes I posted yesterday)! Topped with some blueberries, plain Greek yogurt, and sprouted watermelon seeds.

I’m working from home this morning for a couple hours and then heading downtown for the rest of the day. Have a good one, my friends! 🙂

What are your favorite signs of spring where you are besides weather? For me here in DC it’s the cherry blossoms, of course, and the adorable reflecting pool baby ducks! 🙂

I love seeing the crocus come up. There're pretty much the first flowers that bloom here.

Those ducklings are the cutest :). The bluebonnets are my favorite sign of spring here in Austin

The sunlight earlier really helps me go outside for morning workouts instead of the gym. And the best is being able to eat outside and people watch, love seeing those outdoor tables come out.

What a gorgeous morning for a run! And those ducklings are adorable :) My favourite sign of spring is the tiny little leaf buds that peep out from tree branches before they burst into glorious bloom. At the moment I'm keeping my eye out for signs of autumn here in Australia though! We don't get much leaf peeping but I'll take what I can get!

In Arizona, there isn't much sign of spring since we only have two seasons summer and winter
