Hello friends!

After a productive morning, I decided to take the afternoon off to play. The past few months have been SO busy it was nice to just take some time to myself! I threw on workout clothes, grabbed my sunglasses and my DSLR camera, and headed into Chapel Hill, walking all the way through town into Carrboro, the neighboring town, taking pictures and stopping in stores along the way. It was a wonderful way to see my new city and get some exercise and sunshine at the same time!

Enjoy 🙂

Have a wonderful Friday! I’ll be back tomorrow with a recap of the fun 6 mile run a bunch of my classmates and I have planned. Here’s hoping we find better trails than the one I ran on the other day 😉

Gorgeous photos! Gave a great perspective of the town's charm and layout. The purple one is so pretty with your background color. Congrats on finishing your 1st week of classes - hope you have a great weekend.

Ahhh, The Station!!! Many a beer were consumed there! I miss Chapel Hill :( The Spotted Dog is a really good vegetarian restaurant (as is MINT - Indian cuisine). Also, you MUST go to LocoPops and The Yogurt Pump!

Great photos! They made me nostalgic for my favorite college town. I'm sure you are missing your friends and life in DC, but you'll definitely come to love Chapel Hill, too...I promise!! I agree with Katie, the Spotted Dog is a great little restaurant. You'd never believe the soy bacon on their cheese fries isn't the real thing! (not exactly health food, obviously).

NICE - What a cute little town! Love the "small town" feeling the pictures represented. I hope you will LOVE living there. Also, good luck with your classes!
