It’s official. I have a new favorite veggie burger recipe!

I whipped these up a couple weeks ago on a whim for lunch and was so happy with how they turned out. Easy to make and packed with fiber and protein, too.

I especially loved the flavor — almost like a healthy version of falafel!

These veggie burgers were even Matt approved, you guys will be happy to know! He enjoyed the flavor — especially when hot sauce was added :) He was really intrigued when I was making them because apparently he thought all veggie burgers were made entirely of mushrooms? Haha.

You have me interested in branching out to a new veg burger. My current favorite is Jenna’s black bean burgers-so good!!

Anne, those look delicious. I have never been a veggie burger enthusiast, but I love lentils and these actually look good. I will certainly give them a try. Black Bean and Pumpkin burgers sounds good too. I’m with Matt as far as the hot sauce goes. I will make these for me because I don’t like ground beef, but my husband won’t like them.If I were to give these to him he would say “Where’s the Beef”.

Love me a good bean burger recipe! Just made sweet potato black bean burgers that rocked but these will be next on my list.

I love your black bean & pumpkin burgers so I’m excited to try this recipe. And if you by chance accidentally use pumpkin pie instead of pumpkin, it actually isn’t half bad! If you like your burgers with a hint of cinnamon! :)

    Hi, Anne,

Just made these for lunch- delicious! My very first attempt at veggie burgers.
