A DSLR!!!

A friend of a friend was selling his Canon Digital Rebel XTi and a BALLER zoom lens for $600 total! Considering the lens-less body of the camera is $750 and the lens I got is $600… I’m pretty pleased with the deal I got! 🙂

Yay!! I can’t wait to learn more about it and all the settings 🙂 I have a lot to learn!

It’s rainy and humid today in D.C. — the perfect day for an indoor workout at LA Boxing! It was a smaller class than usual this morning so we did some mat work (a billion lunges/squats/situps/pushups… whew!) in addition to stuff with the bags. Fun! I love that they always mix up the classes. I’m excited because tomorrow morning I’m going in for a personal training session! Stay tuned — I’ll be sharing some of the moves I learn with all of you! 🙂

I just refueled with one of my favorites — Kashi Heart to Heart and Honey Sunshine cereals with skim milk, sliced banana, and berries. Yum yum!!

And now I’m off to work and then my last Nutrition class tonight before our final next Monday! I can’t believe how quickly this semester flew by. Tomorrow is my Anatomy & Physiology lab practical exam (ID-ing the bones and muscles) and Thursday is the lecture final. Gah! It’s going to be a busy week.
