Hello from the arctic!!

056

We’ve gotten about TWO FEEET of snow here in Virginia and it just now seems to be stopping! Crazy.

053

Last night was super fun! A big group of us walked over to a local bar for happy hour. Walking home afterwards was great — snowball fights, pushing each other into the snow, etc. 🙂

055054

Today has been spent relaxing and playing outside/gaping at the crazy amount of snow 🙂

051

It’s awesome having this much snow because you can basically do whatever acrobatics you want and you won’t get hurt, ha!

059

Check out my hilariously ungraceful flying leap into the snow from the buried fence in my friend’s yard! Lol.

And my friend Matt’s awesome front flip into the snow (show off!!) 😉

Snow is so soft and pillowy 🙂

We made a HUGE lasagna this afternoon (recipe will be up soon!) and a bunch of friends are coming over for dinner and wine. We’re thinking another walk to the bars later will be in order!

Have a great Saturday night, everyone!

049

Is it snowy where you are, too?? 🙂

We got a huge blizzard in Philly too! Looks like you had lots of fun. I have a question for you- I had to shut my blog to private view because I realized that when I googled my full name, the blog showed up which I don't want it too. I deleted the comment that was the cause of it, but the blog still appears in google searches. Do you have any idea how to fix this?? I want to put my blog back up before I lose all of my readers!
Hey! Hmmm I have no idea how to fix that - mine doesn't show up under my full name, but I also don't have my full name on here anywhere I don't think? I'm sorry :( Good luck! -Anne

Definitely snowy in Louisville. We're supposed to get 4-8 inches this upcoming Tuesday. But when are the weathermen ever right? We only had a light dusting today but everyone's preparing for next week. Who knows if it will really happen. Looks like you had a blast in the snow!!

I'm a new reader and just wanted to say that I'm loving your blog! I am so jealous of the snow you have; my sister recently moved to Arlington and has been sending me pictures all day since I'm still stuck here in Charlotte, NC where we get lame ice storms. Have fun!!
Aw thanks! :) Welcome to the blog! -Anne

Hey girl! Just wanted to let you know that I just did a (Save the date) post on the April 10th Blogger Meet Up. I know it's still early, but I just wanted to get the word out because I have a feeling it will be here before we know it! :) I have a list of people who have contacted me so far, and I am going to keep that updated, so if you know of anyone who is interested, let me know and I'll add them to the list. Hope you are enjoying the snow! :) <3 Lauren
Yay fun! I'm excited :) I'll do a post on here closer to the date... -Anne

Haha! That snow looks so fun!! It almost makes me wish the snow would come back over here in England (though I say ALMOST....The snow here really got in the way of my running :p). I've just discovered your blog and I really like the look of it - so envious you're studying to become an RD - My dream job! Have a great day :)
Oh man... the snow is totally getting in the way of my running, too!! Lame. -Anne

No snow in NYC -- thank God! What's funny is that they totally expected it, so the streets are all salted...with no snow!
Oh wow I'm surprised you guys didn't get any! -Anne
