And sweet potatoes. Especially when they are together.

I can’t help it. It’s just so freaking good.

Exhibit A: my side dish for today’s lunch.

Could it be?

Is that by any chance sweet potatoes AND cumin, basking together in the glorious sunshine that comes through my kitchen window?

Perhaps in the form of Mexican-Style Sweet Potato Fries?

Why yes, it is.

Mmmmmmmm…

What food do you have a love affair with?

Things are getting pretty hot and heavy between me and hummus at the moment, too. I hope cumin doesn’t get too jealous.

I am absolutely 100% addicted to kabocha squash. I love it soooo much, I can't even describe it. I made enough for 4 nights the other day and at it in a day and a half. sooooooo good. also, do not get me anywhere near a jar of nutella...danger.
Haha oh man Nutella is soooo good. Reminds me of studying abroad in Australia... we used to eat it a lot there :) I just bought some kabocha squash the other day... yum! - Anne

Oh those fries are so good! I love making them, too! I've got to agree with Evan. Maybe it's the season, but I can't keep my hands off the cookies lately!

I have a serious love affair with goat cheese. I don't know what it is, but I can't get enough. It tops off nearly every dish to perfection. And I'm not going to lie... I'm seeing a lot of avocado on the side. It's an arrangement that works ;)
Lol! It's all about playing the field ;) I'm kind of getting like that with feta! - Anne

I'm so proud of you, Anne. Admitting your cumin addiction in public is the first step to recovery! Anyways, I also love, love, love goat cheese and when certain things are in season, like heirloom tomatoes, arugula, and fresh basil, I can't get enough of 'em!
Lol, thanks Turner ;) Mmmmm now you got me thinking about your egg and bacon sandwiches you make in the summer with heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil. I want one nowwwww - A
