Enjoy! I have plans to make my Spiced Mashed Sweet Potatoes for Thanksgiving again this year — I debuted them last year and they were a bit hit!

Are you planning on using any of my recipes for Thanksgiving? I’d love to hear your menu plans. Also, if you make any of my recipes — send me a photo! It’d be fun to feature some of them on the blog 🙂

Have a wonderful Sunday, friends!

The cranberry and walnut pumpkin bread looks great! Maybe I'll make it today to practice for thanksgiving - now that I'm home for the week, my life will be spent baking and loving it!

Deep fried turkey, dressing (my mother's delicious recipe), cranberries, green beans, creamed potatoes, giblet gravy, sauted brussel sprouts, sweet potato souffle, corn on the cob, my home made yeast rolls, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, minced meat pie. My husband will fry the turkey outside. I will cook everything else. My children and their spouses will bring their favorite dish. I told them I want something in the dish. One year my youngest daughter brought an empty dish. (Hahaha very funny) Yeah. Where are you spending Thanksgiving this year? Are you cooking Thanksgiving dinner? (I hope I didn't mispell anything)

Yum!!! That sounds awesome. Matt and I are heading up to Pittsburgh for Thanksgiving with his parents - they get really into it (make a menu and everything!) so it should be awesome. They are frying a turkey, too! I'm in charge of sweet potatoes and not much else, which is kind of how I like it :) Less pressure! That's hilarious about your daughter bringing an empty dish, hahah.

I really enjoyed your Thanksgiving details last year, will your mother and brother and dad be joining you and Matt. That was fun with your friends in Tampa.

Sadly no - my parents are traveling overseas and my brother is living overseas now as well! But I'll see them around Christmas :)

Oh, I'm sorry, but it is good that your mom is with your dad. I have 3 sons in the Navy and two of them will be home this year for the first time in four years. I'm am so excited I tear up everytime I anticipate seeing them this Thursday. Our sons and their families will be with us for a week. I just can't wait. I'm crying know thinking about it.

Thank you. I'm supposed to cook for my new vegan girlfriend next week and have absolutely no idea what to make! I found tons of recipes at this vegetarian recipe site but with soo many to choose from I just got confused. Do you have any recommendations, like .. the tastiest vegetarian recipe, ever, or something?! Thanks in advance! I'm so clueless about this vegetarian stuff

Hmmm unfortunately I don't think I'll be much help! I have a bunch of vegetarian and vegan recipes on my blog, but I don't really have any specific favorites. I'd recommend just perusing my recipe page, especially the "vegetarian entree" section! Good luck :)
