Yum, those chocolate chunk cookies look and sound amazing! I love easy, portable snacks and my favorite are no bake oatmeal protein balls--I add in protein powder to make them more filling!

These are some great ideas - thanks for sharing. I start back at school in September and I always like to bring lunches and snacks with me because it's hard to find anything healthy on campus.

So many great ideas and what a perfect post since it's time to start thinking about back to school snacks and last-minute road trips! I'm also on the recipe roundup wagon and recently posted an Apple Recipe Roundup (I think the heat in DC is making me wish it were fall already!). https://aluminumfoiledkitchen.wordpress.com/2016/07/27/recipe-roundup-an-apple-a-day/

Hi Anne. This is random, but I wanted to know what are some healthy cracker brands to send with my kindergartener (son) at school. He does not like Triscuits, unfortunately. Preferably something I can buy at Walmart or similar grocery store. Thank you!

Hmmm the ones that we most frequently buy are triscuits, Brad’s raw veggie chips (we usually buy these online), and the "artisan nut thins" from Blue Diamond (not sure if these are available at Walmart or not, and they have almonds in them so won't work if his school is tree nut free, FYI). You can check out my Healthy Toddler Snack Ideas post for some more inspiration!
