I had a stroke of genius at lunchtime yesterday.

Behold:

001

Could it be?? Is that possibly leftover homemade Lazy (Wo)Man’s Butternut Squash Soup on top of leftover homemade Garlic Herb Roasted Veggies??

Why yes, friends, it is! 😉 Mmmmmmm

In other news, our super fun family friends (remember, the twins?) from Tampa that we had Thanksgiving with were in town yesterday, and I met them and some of their friends for a ridiculously awesome dinner last night.

Check this out:

Holy crap. We even got to wear bibs! 🙂

007

I think bibs are awesome and should probably be worn at all times. I almost kept it, but it got kinda messy 😉

This beauty was involved in the after-dinner festivities:

Check out the sugar on the rim! Yum.

It was perfect timing to go out because yesterday afternoon was our last Organic Chem test of the semester! Now I just have to get through finals next week. So close!

I’m heading off to the gym (or maybe running… but it looks kind of gross and cold out) and then to my last bio class! Woohooo!!

Have a lovely Wednesday, friends! 🙂

I miss the summer so much right now where we could get fresh caught lobster in Maine. SO messy and yet so good. I would never have the guts to order it at a restaurant though because I would make a fool of myself with all the lobster juice flying around
    That's the best part ;) - Anne
