Things I’m Loving Lately

1) Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal. So delicious.

010

2) Mighty Leaf Sunburst Green Iced Tea. I think I saved like a million dollars by making my own iced tea at home this summer — I love Mighty Leaf’s black iced tea varieties, too. Very flavorful!

014

3) This cute Race Bibs display holder that I bought via Etsy a couple weeks ago.

015

4) This Pilates DVD that I was given at Fitbloggin’ a million years ago and finally got around to trying the other day. I used to do Pilates all the time in DC (at Gold’s Gym) and I really miss it! This DVD is pretty basic but includes most of my favorite Pilates moves.

013

5) This new LARABAR flavor, Chocolate Chip Cherry Torte, that they sent me yesterday to try. I clearly ripped open the package immediately. Loved it!

016

6) The movie “Horrible Bosses.” I have not laughed that hard in a movie in a LONG time. Please go see it. You will laugh. A lot.

7) Cocktail hour on the porch with Matt.

006 005

I’m off to school — busy day (and week) ahead, but tomorrow is my birthday, so that’s something nice to look forward to amidst all the studying 🙂

I need that race bib holder! Mine are all currently stashed in a box but I've always wanted to display them better. Thanks for the link!

I just went over to Etsy and pinned that on Pinterest... more people need to own this, I think. Pretty awesome, especially for those of us who only run the shorter distances where you don't get medals. Sometimes the race bib is all you get. It's such a great idea!

Regarding a sauce for pumpkin/butternut squash pasta -- I used light butter with canola oil, and used chicken stock, and some parsley and topped it off with parmesan -- very tasty, and not so heavy as some of the recipes I saw.

I love the oatmeal - my spice mix for P. Pie is cinnamon, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt (and of course, sweetener of choice). MMMMMMMM sometimes I just drop garam masala in there.

I'm so eager to try that new Larabar flavor. My favorite currently is the Cherry Pie. So, I'm hoping it is similar to that, but with chocolate added. YUM! I'll have to check out that holder. I've been hanging mine up on a rack with the safety pins!
