Beat the heat with these easy and refreshing summer dip recipes! From fruit salsas to summery hummus dips and more, you’ll love these delicious snack or appetizer dips.

Not only do many of these dips feature summer fruit, bright colors, or summer-inspired flavors, but most of them don’t require any cooking, either, which is key for those hot days when you don’t want to turn on your oven.

Fresh Summer Appetizer Dips To Enjoy

From sweet, juicy mango and watermelon to creamy avocado and lemon, these summer dips feature fabulous summer flavors and will be a hit at your next summer party or BBQ!

Most of these dips come together in less than 15 minutes, too. Serve them with your favorite dippers, such as tortilla chips, seedy crackers, crunchy veggies, pita chips, etc.

Mango Habanero Salsa

Sweet and spicy mango salsa is a refreshing, flavorful dip (or taco topping, or protein topper – it’s great on chicken) that’s perfect for any occasion! Fresh mango is paired with spicy peppers, red onion, bell peppers, and fresh herbs.

This recipe uses habanero peppers for some heat, but you can use jalapeño peppers or leave out the peppers altogether for a less spicy fruit salsa. You can also use thawed frozen mango if needed!

Easy Beetroot Hummus

Say hello to the most beautiful summer dip: beetroot hummus! Roasted beets give it a lovely pink-red color, and a bright, slightly earthy flavor. You can use fresh beets and roast them if you’re feeling ambitious, or keep it simple and save time by using pre-cooked beets (which you can find at the grocery store). Either way will turn out delicious.

Serve alongside pita bread, chips, and crunchy veggies like cucumbers, carrots, and radishes for the perfect summer appetizer!

Avocado Crema with Lime

If you love avocado as much as I do, you need to try this avocado lime crema! It’s a super creamy dip or spread that only requires 5 ingredients (and no cooking needed).

It’s make with plain Greek yogurt (no mayo), and fresh cilantro and jalapeños add flavor and spice. (Feel free to leave out the peppers if you don’t want any spice.)

It’s delicious served with tortilla chips or dolloped on tacos!

Cucumber Watermelon Salsa

What’s summer without watermelon?! This simple watermelon salsa with cucumber and lime is the epitome of refreshing! You can throw it together in minutes, and it’s the perfect dip to cool you down on a hot day.

You can easily swap out the watermelon for another summer fruit, too, like diced peaches, mango, or strawberries! Enjoy it with chips as a salsa, or use it as a topping to a grilled protein.

Avocado White Bean Hummus with Lemon

Classic hummus gets a level-up this summer with this avocado lemon and white bean dip! Lemon adds a bright flavor, while avocado and white beans keep it super creamy.

It pairs well with practically any sort of cracker, veggie, or bread. You can even enjoy it as a sandwich spread!

Fresh Pineapple Salsa

Can you tell I love fruit salsas? This tropical-inspired pineapple salsa features bell peppers, red onion, lime, and fresh cilantro for a super simple yet totally crave-worthy dip. All you have to do is dice the fruit/veggies, squeeze fresh lime juice on top, stir, and enjoy.

Serve it with tortilla chips, or add it to grilled burgers or tacos!

Spicy Queso Dip with Hummus

This creamy queso dip is made with a secret ingredient that makes it more nutrient dense: hummus! It gives the dip a super smooth texture and adds delicious flavor.

This healthier queso is great for fall tailgating, but the chopped tomatoes, fresh herbs, and Mediterranean flair from the hummus give it a summery vibe, too.

I hope you get a chance to try some of these easy summer dips! I know you won’t be disappointed. 🙂 They’re perfect for snacking all summer long!

They all look bright and summery, but I think the fruit salsas would be my first choice!
