I’m a big fan of salmon, and these salmon dinner ideas are some of my absolute favorite meals!

Years ago, I used to be scared to make salmon at home because every time I did it came out tough and dry and not nearly as delicious as restaurant salmon. But I’m happy to report that since then I’ve come up with quite a few foolproof at-home salmon recipes, and here they are all rounded up together in one convenient post!

Salmon is surprisingly easy to bake, and goes great with tons of sides – roasted veggies, pasta, rice, quinoa, salad, the list goes on. All of these recipes are super flavorful and packed with nutrients, too!

Healthy Baked Salmon Recipes for Dinner

Salmon is a nutrient powerhouse, with tons of protein, vitamins, and minerals like potassium. It takes on the flavors it mingles with, and doesn’t take too long to cook, making it great for busy weeknights.

All you really have to do to make tasty salmon is pour over some kind of marinade or sauce before baking – not only will this add flavor, but it will help keep it moist while it cooks, too. Now, let’s get to some recipe inspiration – here are my best salmon dinner ideas!

Lemon Dijon Sheet Pan Salmon Dinner

This super simple sheet pan baked salmon and veggies features a delectable lemon dijon sauce. The prep time is minimal and it tastes divine!

Orange Glazed Salmon with Honey & Ginger

There’s a citrus theme with a lot of my salmon recipes, and that’s because the flavor combination is just so good! This salmon is baked with an orange ginger marinade for a dish your taste buds will love.

Blackened Salmon Tacos with Mango Salsa

Flavorful salmon tacos feature a blackened seasoning “crust” and a homemade mango habanero salsa that adds a delicious sweet heat. These are especially perfect for spring and summer, but can be made year-round (stovetop or grill!).

These easy fish tacos are super refreshing, and you can add any toppings you like – such as slaw, avocado slices (or avocado crema), sliced radishes, lime juice, and/or cilantro.

Baked Pesto Salmon with Veggies

If you’ve got an extra jar of pesto in your pantry, this is a quick and easy meal to whip up. You can even make your own homemade pesto: try my spinach basil pesto recipe!

Super Easy Baked Salmon with Lemon

This baked salmon is bright, lemony, and juicy. It takes just 3 ingredients – salmon, lemon, and olive oil – and everything is done in one pan (including the marinating!). Serve with a side of veggies and brown rice or quinoa.

Sheet Pan Asian Salmon with Veggies

This one is always a huge hit in our house!

Salmon with Lemon Mustard Dill Sauce

I'm definitely not an expert in that area! We usually buy our salmon from Whole Foods, in their fresh seafood department where they slice/portion it for you.
